Sunday, October 9, 2011 // 12:33 PM WHO'S READY FOR SOME CIRCLE LENS BRAND INFO?! : D Alright, so remember way back in the day when i.Fairy had just busted out on the scene? Nobody knew for sure who was manufacturing them, right? But there was a rumour that is was Dueba (especially since it seemed to share a few series designs). Turns out that's pretty much correct: Vassen is a brother company of Sun&Bon (who distributes "i.Fairy" lenses), and Sun&Bon sells (more like OEMs) Vassen's lenses. That's why you'll see lenses from Vassen/Dueba (remember that Dueba and Vassen manufacture lenses in the same place) that look exactly like i.Fairy lenses. They are the exact same as the i.Fairy lenses. ;P You'll find plenty of 'Vassen' lenses on G&G/Dueba's websites, as well as being sold by sellers under 'Barbie', 'Candy', and any number of other 'brands'. Vassen & Dueba produce outta' the same location & share a few lenses. i.Fairy lenses are just relabeled lenses from Sun&Bon. Sun&Bon is a brother company of Vassen, and sells Vassen lenses under their own name. Therefore: i.Fairy lenses = Vassen(/Dueba) lenses. Yes, folks, this also means that your 'huge' i.Fairy lenses are standard DIA 14.5 mm. Check out the Vassen labels they originally come with. '] Sorryy~. --- ---- ---- |
